Grinnell Police Hiring

The Grinnell Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer.  Applicants will be required to pass a physical agility test, written P.O.S.T. exam, psychological screening, pre-employment drug test, medical exam and background investigation.  Current I.L.E.A. certified officers may waive physical agility and P.O.S.T. exam.  Iowa certified peace officer’s preferred but not required.   Applications are available only through A Police Officer for the City of Grinnell must reside no greater than fifteen (15) miles from the Public Safety Building within one year from the date of hire.  The City of Grinnell is an equal opportunity employer.
