THE DALLAS COUNTY SHERIFF COMMUNICATIONS IS CONDUCTING A

RECRUITMENT TESTING TO ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST FOR THE POSITION OF 911

DISPATCHER. THE LIST MAY BE USED TO FILL ONE OR MORE VACANCIES IN THIS

CLASSIFICATION AS THEY OCCUR. OUR 911 DISPATCHERS ENJOY WORKING IN A STATE OF

THE ART FACILITY WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY/ EQUIPMENT IN TRUNKED RADIO

COMMUNICATIONS AND CAD TECHNOLOGY.  APPLICANTS MUST APPLY ON LINE TO DALLAS

A RESUME AND APPLICATION MUST BE ON FILE BY END OF CLOSE DATE SEPT 1ST. THE

SELECTION PROCESS IS CRITICALL TESTING, INTERVIEWS AND OBSERVATION/REPORT

WRITING, ALL FINALIST WILL UNDER A HEARING TEST AND EYE EXAM WITH DRUG SCREEN,

REQUIRING MULTIPLE VISITS TO THE CENTER. OUT OF STATE CANDIDATES WE DO OFFER AN

ACCELERATED PROCESS FOR WITH APPROVAL. STARTING PAY FOR CANDIDATES WITH NO

EXPERIENCE IS $20.23 PER HOUR AND UP TO $23.32 PER HOUR FOR CERTIFIED

DISPATCHERS IN GOOD STANDING. DALLAS COUNTY OFFERS A VERY GOOD BENEFIT PACKAGE

AS WELL FOR STAFF. DISPATCHERS WILL TRAIN AND WORK IN A 5/2-5/3 SCHEDULE,  WITH

CERTIFIED CTOS FROM THIS LIST WE MAY HIRE FT OR PT 911 DISPATCHERS.
