Minimum Qualifications:  1) be a United States citizen;  2) be 21 years of age by March 1, 2019; 3) be able to pass written, eye, back x-ray, physical, physical agility, drug and alcohol screening, oral, and psychological examinations; 4) be of good moral character and never been convicted of a felony or have a misdemeanor conviction for domestic violence; 5) completed 60 hours of college credits with a minimum grade average of “C”; or four years’ experience as certified full-time city, county, state or federal police officer or high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years full-time Military service in the U.S. Armed Forces with an honorable discharge (a combination of the above is acceptable; 15 college credits=one year of experience. Documentation of education and experience must be submitted with application, plus military DD214 long if applicable).
